Our baby girl graduated today

I am afraid I will be saying this for real sooner than I care to think about. Today Sierra graduated from the greatest kindergarten class I think I have ever seen. Her teachers
Teacher Victoria
and Ms. Lauren have taught her so much. She has learned how to speak Spanish, she has learned how to read, she has learned some great songs and games in Spanish and English, she's learned the Costa Rican national anthem and is very respectful while she sings it, she has made some great friends and has decided she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. I can't imagine a better kindergarten experience for her. We are so proud of her and how hard she has worked. Teacher Victoria says she is going to make a great teacher!

I can't get enough of this song

I found this on another site and I love this song, her voice and the message. Enjoy!

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and Shay is sick! At least he will get to spend the day in bed and as his present we are going to try to be quiet or maybe leave and go to the park. Hopefully we can celebrate tomorrow.
My three children are very blessed to have Shay as a Father. He loves them, protects them, looks forward to their futures, plays with them, tells them the greatest stories, teaches them with his amazing wealth of knowledge of everything, speaks in Spanish with them, shows them the world and most important how to serve God!
We love you and pray you get better soon!

Career Day

Today is Career Day for Sierra at school. She started out wanting to be a ballerina, then a doctor, then a teacher. We couldn't figure out which one to do... This morning it occured to me she loves pretending to be a mama and a mama has to be a teacher, doctor and we threw cook in there, because she loves to cook for everyone. So this is her ready for school this morning as a Mama/teacher/doctor/cook. The baby for the mama part, the pencil behind the ear for a teacher, the apron for a cook and you can't see but she has band-aids in her apron pocket for the doctor part. Her teachers will probably think we are crazy, but I really hope she grows up to be all the above and I wanted her to know being a Mama is first and you get to do all those other things when you're a Mama!

Sierra's New haircut

Sierra got a new haircut this weekend. It is short in the back and longer on the sides. She really likes it and I think she looks adorable!
